When was your lift last serviced?
Ropes wear slowly, lubricants dry out and dust settles on sensors, all silently inside the shaft. Residents notice nothing until the cabin stops between floors or the doors shudder in front of a guest or someone unwell, and by then the repair takes longer and costs more than catching the problem early would have.
At each visit the technician checks ropes and pulleys, lubricates guides and moving parts, adjusts doors and closing sensors, tests brakes and safety devices, and goes through the controller and wiring. The visit ends with a report covering what was done and any part showing early wear that deserves watching before it becomes a fault.

Does your lift call for regular preventive servicing?
Lift in a residential building
Continuous use wears ropes and doors faster; the first inspection decides how often visits should be.
Lightly used villa lift
Long idle periods dry out lubricants and weaken sensors; regular visits are still needed even with light use.
Older lift with a maintenance gap
We start with a thorough inspection to find accumulated wear, then set a schedule to bring the lift back to stable condition.

What holds building owners back before committing
What decides the cost of scheduled maintenance?
The lift type, its size, age, the floors it serves and how often visits are needed all affect the cost. No figure is possible before we see the lift; the first inspection is what reveals exactly what it needs.
Is the lift out of service during the maintenance visit?
The technician needs to run and stop the lift repeatedly during checks and adjustments, so it is not available to passengers during that time. How long it is out of service depends on the lift's condition and what the technician finds, and is confirmed after the first inspection.
Does maintenance leave dust or noise in the building?
Scheduled maintenance does not involve cutting or breaking, so there is very little dust. Some noise from running the machine and testing equipment is possible, but it is brief and confined to the lift area. If a visit calls for any additional work we tell you in advance.
Is scheduled maintenance enough to keep users safe?
Scheduled maintenance includes testing brakes, safety devices and door sensors at every visit, and that is the first line of defence for catching any fault before it becomes a risk. What the technician finds during the visit determines whether any further action is needed.
How do I know the technician actually understands my lift rather than just passing through?
The first inspection builds a record specific to your lift: the machine type, the condition of each part and what the technician noted. At every visit after that, findings are compared against the history, and that is what lets the technician catch small changes before they become faults.

How often does a lift need maintenance?
It depends on the type of lift, how heavily it is used and its age. A building lift that runs all day needs closer visits than a villa lift, and we set the schedule after the first inspection.
Do you maintain a lift you did not install?
Yes. We start with a full inspection to learn the machine type, the controller and the condition of the parts, then tell you what needs repair before the lift joins the maintenance schedule.
What is the difference between maintenance and repair?
Scheduled maintenance prevents faults: lubrication, adjustment and checks at fixed times. Repair comes after the lift stops or misbehaves. A lift that is maintained regularly breaks down unexpectedly far less often.
What are the signs a lift is overdue for maintenance?
Grinding or clicking as it moves, doors that hesitate to close, a cabin that stops above or below the floor level, and a jolt when it starts or stops. If you notice any of these, book an inspection soon.
Does a home lift that is rarely used still need maintenance?
Yes. Light use does not protect a lift: lubricants dry out, batteries weaken and dust settles on sensors and doors. Villa lifts need regular visits even when they move little, and the first inspection sets how often.
Will the same technician look after my lift at every visit?
We aim for that wherever possible, because a technician who knows the lift's history notices small changes quickly. If a change is unavoidable, the full service record is passed to whoever takes over.
What happens if the technician finds a part that needs replacing during a visit?
The technician records the finding and explains it to you before any action is taken. Replacing the part happens with your approval, and the timeline depends on the part type and is confirmed on site.
